What’s included with my InsideMetals® subscription?

The InsideMetals® subscriber has access to all subscriber areas on InsideMetals.com. One of the many premium features includes an industry compilation of all precious metals producing mining companies organized by stock exchange.

These companies are listed alphabetically in table format which enables the subscriber to make quick comparisons of the financial statistics and Production and Reserves that characterize each company. Also included are professionally written business summaries with tools such as quotes, charts, financials and direct links to each gold producers corporate website.

How often is InsideMetals® updated?

The research staff for InsideMetals®, comprised of Whitney & Whitney, Inc. industry professionals, is organized to collect and review all press releases issued by each of the included companies. Regular updates will follow as quarterly financial reports, annual reports and regulatory documents are filed. Material notices will be posted as links on each of the Industry Profiles for each company and commentary will be posted under the appropriate section of Business Summary.

How does InsideMetals® select the companies it reports on?

InsideMetals® is a detailed summary of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium producing mining companies. The companies are compiled by stock exchange: New York Exchange (NYSE), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), and National Association of Security Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ).

InsideMetals® lists all companies that derive 40% of their revenue from the sale of gold, silver and platinum group metals; and these sales must total at least $1,000,000 annually.

Is InsideMetals® compensated by  the Companies it reports on?

No. InsideMetals® does not accept compensation from anyone. All reports and data compiled on InsideMetals.com is done independently by the research staff at Whitney & Whitney, Inc.

Can a Gold Producing Company pay for inclusion on InsideMetals®?

No. Companies included on InsideMetals® must meet specific criteria which are determined by financial reports, annual reports and regulatory documents; they must derive 40% of their revenue from the sale of gold, silver and platinum group metals; and these sales must total at least $1,000,000 annually.

Does InsideMetals® give investment advice?

InsideMetals® does not provide investment advise of any kind. No data or statements herein should be construed as a recommendation for the purchase, retention, or sale of the securities of the companies mentioned. How does InsideMetals® rank the investment quality of the Companies?

InsideMetals® presents standard financial ratios, annual metal production data, and metal content of proven and probable reserves in tabular format so that the ranked companies on each U.S. Stock Exchange can be compared by the subscriber. This format makes it easier for a prospective investor to compare the relative worth of each company. The focus of the presentation is to maximize “ease of use.” Total, and average financial statistics, metal production statistics, and proven and probable ore reserves are presented so that individual company statistics can easily be compared to the totals and average of its peers as a group. Totals, and averages for all three exchanges are also presented, providing a snapshot of the whole group of U.S. registered companies. Having this information at your finger tips with the click of a mouse is a powerful tool not readily available anywhere else.

Does InsideMetals®  compile data on Foreign Companies?

We currently do not compile data on foreign companies directly, however, If a company is listed on the NYSE, AMEX or NASDAQ, even though its operations are abroad, it will be compiled by InsideMetals® should it also meet our other criteria for listing.

Does InsideMetals®  compile data on Exploration Companies?

It’s difficult to value an exploration company that only has a precious metals resource and a stock market capitalization compared to a company with production, reserves, and income that affects the value of the company’s stock. An exploration company may have a high stock value based on exploration potential that never materializes. Thus all of the producing precious metals company in the InsideMetals® Gold, Silver, Platinum Company Profiles can be valued as to investment quality based on their metal production.

Does InsideMetals®  use standard units of measurement?

All of the financial and included mining data for the listed companies will be compiled in US dollars and English units of measure: troy ounces of precious metals, tons of ore, and lengths and widths reported in feet and miles when necessary. Thus the user can make direct comparisons from one company to the next with respect to production, reserves, and income.

Can I make photocopies or re-print information published on InsideMetals®?

Making photocopies, reprints, reproductions, retransmissions, or storage in a data retrieval system, in whole or in part, for other than personal use or internal reference is strictly prohibited without advance written permission from InsideMetals® and Whitney & Whitney, Inc.

Can I purchase printed quarterly publications for the listed Companies?

Printed reports are not available at this time, however, sometime in the future we plan to offer this feature.

How do I renew my InsideMetals®  Subscription?

You can easily renew your subscription in one of 2 ways; contact us via telephone or by email contact form located at our contact page. We will need your full name, and your member ID, which is the email address associated with your InsideMetals® subscription.

How do I cancel my InsideMetals®  Subscription?

To cancel your subscription please contact us via telephone or by email contact form located at our contact page. Once your request to cancel has been processed we will send you email verification that your subscription has been cancelled. Once cancelled there will be no further charges to your credit card.

Can I receive a partial refund after my credit card has been charged?

Once your credit card has been charged we cannot issue partial or pro-rated refunds. If you do not wish to remain a subscriber please cancel your subscription so you will no longer be charged additional months.
